Now in its fourteenth year hosting assorted web sites (web sights), TransVision boasts an uptime reliability exceeding 99.95% since the new millennium dawned. We have colocated at Comfluent, one of Denver's premiere data centers, since 1997; in fact, we were their very first colocation customer. The state-of-the-art, air conditioned data center has redundant back up power systems: dry cell battery and diesel generators. It has high security access. Our primary server, placed in service in March 2009, is an Intel dual core Xeon XServe running Apple's critically acclaimed OS X Server 10.5.8 with 4 GB SDRAM and three hot-swappable hard drives for redundancy. Without the questionable security and viral vulnerabilities associated with servers running another popular OS of the past, TransVision avoids unnecessary cost and maintenance overhead, delivering our clients' content with ease and dependability week after week, month after month, and year after year. The Mac OS X Server platform is an extremely secure Operating System based on the BSD Unix kernel. We host our web sites with Apache 2, the world's most popular web server. QuickDNS 4 provides us the ability to independently manage the switch-board to multiple hosted sites. We provide a premium service, unlike cost-cutters with marginalized hardware and bandwidth. ![]() Nine Stones Ring, near Belstone, Dartmoor, Devon, United Kingdom. Located about a kilometer from the Belstone Church off an obscure pathway, this arrangement of diminutive stones is not easy to find in the boulder-strewn moorlands, especially in dense fog. Grave robbers centuries ago may have destroyed a cairn structure within the 25 foot circumference. |
